He was deprived of his father, who was found dead, murdered by a livid mob. His mother became mentally ill so he was sent to a foster home. This important because I got to learn many differences and similarities between Martin Luther king Jr and Malcolm x .as a result Ive learned many things near martin Luther king Jr and Malcolm x that Ive never learned before.
