Technology in A Brave new World         Technology is defined as use the entire body of science, methods, andmaterials to achieve an end.  Technology, or techne, is so preoccupied with persist it can, it never considers if it should.  In Of Techne and Episteme, aarticle on technology and humanities, the actor Eddy warns us that a societywithout epistemological thinking would bestow to a society of  skilledbarbarians.  This is the topic of the novel Brave New World in which AldousHuxley portrays a future world where babies are construct on an assembly lineand put into a social variant while they are still embryos in a test tube.  Aschildren they are engineered to be content with their rank in this world wherelove, viviparous reproduction, and knowledge of anything beyond your job servesno purpose.  A look at Brave New World supports Eddys beliefs on the importanceof humanities in society because of unethical genetic experi mentation and thecharacters lack of individuality. ...
